There are a small number of V3 preproduction autoloaders in circulation, exactly how many I’m not certain. Since I became aware of the V3, I immediately wanted to test one in walnut trim with a 26 inch barrel. I still do, for what I received for openers is a black synthetic model with a 28 inch barrel and consider myself fortunate to have one at all. For reasons unknown to me, Benelli has done nothing with it for general hunting and target shooting use. Remington improved on the basic A.

Mar 23, · Re: Remington Shotgun Serial Numbers – Meaning Post by remington» Mon Mar 23, pm Thanks to all for the help, but I was still confused since I recently purchased the gun in a box from a dealer.
I’m confused as to how to date this gun. I used to know a lot about guns and hunted all the time with my father, he fell ill some five years ago and passed away, before then he just randomly gave me this gun and gave the rest of them to my stupid brother I guess he figured the would be a good gurly gun and I used to shoot skeet with my little gurly I’m unsure as to how you get the exact length of the barrel. If I pull it out it measures at 33in.
What I’d like to know is how old it is. I know my father purchased it before There aren’t any prefix codes to the serial. If no one can help me that’s fine, as soon as I register it I can take it to a gunsmith, there’s a little broken clip that causes it to jam if you attempt to eject a shell. Because of this I’ve been holding onto it for the past 6 years and haven’t tried shooting it as I’d be concerned it was unsafe but now my daughter is too big for the and wants to shoot something bigger.
As I remember this was a nice ladies gun with a minimal kick but it’s been over 20 years since I shot it at the local turkey shoot, still don’t need any turkeys.

Tweet I have an old. It was in pretty rough shape, with the stock all beat up and most of the stock finish gone. But although it was an ugly duckling, I kind of like ugly ducklings, as I like to turn them into swans. It is a Remington Model , Targetmaster. It is a single shot, bolt action,. I took it apart and cleaned it up and refinished the stock. It turned out pretty nice.
I mounted a Tasco 3 X 9 scope on it and it works great. It is clearly marked Targetmaster, Model on the barrel. When you open the bolt, there is a tray to place the ammunition on… And you just drop it on the tray and it will feed right into the chamber. When the rifle is cocked, there is a red cocking indicator that sticks out of the rear of the bolt. The barrel is longer than most barrels that are sold nowadays, at about 24 inches.

Posts Not really related to the talk, but pertaining to slug hunting I read an interesting article in a magazine regarding using a 20 ga. Until recently conventional wisdom held that using a gauge shotgun for deer hunting was a bad idea. The 20 gauge was something ladies and kids used only for its reduced recoil, and the Foster-style slug was the only option. The gauge Foster slug has a ballistic coefficient of around.
